Fortuner Goes Hybrid
Toyota Kirloskar Motor is set to introduce the mild-hybrid technology in the Fortuner diesel variants. The 48V system assists the engine during acceleration and enables a smoother start-stop function.
Efficiency Gains
Toyota claims a 5-10% improvement in fuel efficiency with the new system. While not a strong hybrid like the Hyryder, this update keeps the Fortuner relevant amidst tightening emission norms.
